Our History
Business Founded
Our business began in 1867, when Mr. CJN Row, a stationmaster, ventured beyond his role to supplement his income by selling accident insurance to railway passengers. Mr. Row laid the foundation for what would become the enduring family business known as CJN Row and Sons.
Starting with just one person, we remain humble with our business story. We continue to instil the personal touch and level of trust that were the foundations for the original family business and allowed us to grow.
Business Develops
After establishing ourselves as a successful company, the family business grew and needed to relocate to a bigger office and in XXXX we moved to XXXXXXXX.
Over the decades, we have expanded our offering to encompass rural, commercial, high net worth and personal insurance, and have gained extensive experience working with clients to securing tailored policies.
Today
Since 2014, we have been operating as Robins Row and have expanded to operate from three offices in Suffolk, Hampshire, and Sussex. Each of our offices work with both local clients and people across the UK and we continue to maintain an exceptional level of personal service for everyone we work with.
From seeing how insurance providers respond to claims over the years, we’ve built up an exclusive list of reputable companies that we work with. Our continued success comes from the straightforward advice we give and the fact we know our policies will perform in the event you need them.

Because of our personal approach to insurance, we have been working with many of our clients for over 10 years – this has resulted in a thriving business and a strong outlook for the future.
